Privacy Policy

LAST UPDATED: AUGUST 24, 2026 ยท PLACEHOLDER, PENDING LEGAL REVIEW

This policy explains what Caught Swiping collects, how we use it, and your choices. We built the Service to be privacy-first: we minimize what we keep and delete reports on a short schedule.

Information you provide

Photos. An uploaded photo is used only to run the match and is not retained after the search completes. We do not sell photos and do not use them to build a face database.

Information collected automatically

Standard analytics and advertising signals (device, browser, pages viewed, and campaign identifiers) to run and measure the Service. We do not place personal data in URLs.

Facial recognition and biometric notice

When you upload a photo, our matching provider processes facial geometry to find visually similar public profiles. We do not retain this biometric data after the search. Residents of certain jurisdictions have specific rights regarding biometric data; the Service may be unavailable in some locations for compliance reasons.

How we use information

To run your search, deliver your report, process billing and your membership, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that run the Service (payment processor, hosting, matching provider, email delivery), and when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention

Reports auto-delete after 30 days, or immediately on request. Billing and account records are kept as required for legal and accounting purposes.

Your choices

You can request deletion of your reports, cancel your membership at any time, and contact us with any privacy request. See Contact and Cancel.
